I will embark on this journey later this afternoon. TYFYS.
No, thank you!
I’m also available if needed
A few questions for you if you don’t mind.
1.) pop tart or toaster strudel?
2.) bacon or breakfast sausage?
3.) what putter are you gaming?
4.) you get to ask me 2 questions. What can I answer?
Toaster strudel because sugar is delicious.
I usually do bacon because it’s easier but a good breakfast sausage is tough to beat
Currently have an oddysey triple track 10 mallet for the putter.
First question: is it rude to find someone to duel in my first Ope?
Second question: who wants to duel?
I don’t think these are questions for me.
No, but we tend to be a friendly folk around these parts ever since Ope one. I will never discourage this kind of thing, though.
My apologies, the first question was for you and the second was me being a dick.
What’s the best piece of advice for an Ope first timer?
As someone who grew up in WI and moved away 20 years ago, what is something I should revisit or something new I should check out in the area?
Relax and embrace the vibes. The Ope is great for many reasons. It truly is a choose your own adventure. You want to play with hickories? Go nuts. You want to play in a match with persimmons? Why not?! You want to just play some fun rounds and enjoy the company of good people? Let’s roll. Essentially, have fun and be kind and you will have one of the best weekends of your life.
Going to defer to some of the native Wisconsinites but I now have been converted into a lover of broasted chicken and fish fry Fridays.
I’m still convinced this is just some new word you guys made up.
It’s real and it’s spectacular.
Fun facts for the lawyers (@mikedabomb mostly) is that if it’s not made with a broaster company product, you legally cannot call it broasted and should instead call it “pressure fried”.
I would prefer that nobody asks why I know this.
It’s only broasted if it comes from the Broast region on Wisconsin. Everyone knows that.
This Might be one of my favorite posts in recent memory.
Why not start here @midwestgolfbum I have some burning questions.
I have some likely terrible answers. Which might be delayed due to dog and kid needs, but I’ll do my best to be timely.
No rush at all.

Do you believe the quality of Culver’s has dropped since their expansion?
-
What is your favorite Brat and why is it Usinger’s?
-
Spotted Cow. Properly rated or overrated?
-
Who is one refugee you’ve wanted to take a loop with, where and why?
Zero question.
It’s the local meat market, a true Wisconsin tradition. Karl’s for those in the know.
It’s overrated. New Glarus makes so, so many better options.
I’ve thought about it and I’m not entirely sure I’ve ever played a round with @PTM despite being at the same events as often as we have been the past 4 or 5 years. Where? Anywhere the High Life is cold. Why? Because he’s truly one of the best people I’ve met because of this place and I’m thankful to call him a friend.
Between the 3 of us I’ll bet this can be arranged…
Appreciate your honesty, being from the Chicagoland area, Culver’s quality has dropped much like I’ve noticed with Portillo’s.
I’m not a big beer guy but I do love Spotted Cow and nothing beats a bottled High Life.
Thank you for your time!
Jesus man. I don’t even like myself that much, my family definitely doesn’t.
