Like I said at the NIT, ball will be rolling much faster now that it’s over!

New Belgium beer in Seattle will go over well with the locals… @MrVinegar206 maybe we could work something out with Columbia Distributing (New Belgium distributor here) to get some deliveries to the courses for us. I know the south sound rep and he is a chill dude.

This is the kind of partnership I am HERE FOR.

Sounds like you’re missing that wedding for sure

There could be more beer connections to be had for us… more local too

Now that Pfizer have got off their fat arses and rolled out a fucking vaccine, which means by the spring this fucking Covid shit should be on the way out, I am sooooo down for jumping on a plane to Seattle in May…

Been thinking about it for a while and finally added myself to the signup sheet to force myself to budget for this. Looks too good and too close to home to not get involved!

Unfortunately looks like I’ll be missing this. GF wants to plan a trip out to Oregon for next October, so still looking forward to getting out there

Can I be guaranteed to play with @davidc?

I’ll quote a previous post here

Ball is now rolling.

Emails inquiring about availability the week or two before Fourball have been sent.

Interested in flying up from alabama for this. do we have a price quote on salish cliffs? It is going to depend on covid. I work at a nursing home and have a pretty strict automatic quarantine policy if flying on a plane but maybe it will work out with the vaccine by that time.

Probably cutting Salish out and making it 3 days from feedback

That’s cool. . . that makes it more likely to check out gamble sands. How good is that track?

I know many people that have it in their top 5 in state. It’s a really fun time and is known for a place where you can shoot your lowest round in your life (when the conditions aren’t mega dialed for a tournament).

For me, it’s somewhere in my top 10 in state. It’s really solid, but personally I love a good set of greens. They aren’t bad… they have some interesting shapes and contours around them, but overall they are really big without a ton going on in them which helps play into being able to shoot a low round.

First returned email in from Mr. Zepp, the Director of Golf at Chambers Bay. He’s happy to have us and has connected me to their group booking organizer. He’s out of town this week, but Mr. Zepp said the group guy will be in contact next week :raised_hands: :raised_hands: :raised_hands:

Between feedback about making the event three days instead of four and PNW Crew members suggesting Salish may not be as good as some rankings have it sound… I’m making the event three days and cutting Salish out :joy:

Would you rather have the event be
  • Thurs.-Sat. (May 13th-15th)
  • Fri.-Sun. (May 14th-16th)
  • Either works for me. I’m just excited to be playing golf and to be in the PNW.
  • I’m not going… I’m just super interested in the event, am following along closely, and wanted to participate

NOTE: If after working with the group coordinators at the courses and one works better than another/can only do one, I may scrap the results

If I learned anything in my Career… Its ALWAYS ready the footnotes!
