Is there a wait list in case of any last minute drops? I have been a lurker but slow to #getinvolved so missed the initial build up. Down to buy some merch regardless though!
There is a wait list, and I’ll put ya on it. You’ll be #2 on it, so there is one guy waiting ahead of ya.
If anyone has an extra spot in an AirBNB or has to drop out of a double occupancy room, or something like that please reach out! Would still really like to make it out to this.
Wanted to check in on this, still would like to make this trip work. Would def be down for a Mariners game as well.
@The_Cad_Says @oski any updates on your statuses?
@bmasters Sorry for the lack of followup! My wife and friends are coming now, so unfortunately no room at the cabin. I hope something comes through!
Is it May yet?
gotta be close
I ask myself that every day
That first airport beer is on me
I think I am having to change flights…
good - more room for Rory
If I make it and end up on @JamesHCard and @LukeBoatright flights, there may be some centurion lounge access available
I’d love to get hammered before my redeye out Sunday night.
Oh man I didn’t even realize SeaTac had a centurion too, we like that!
It’s not a full service Centurion Lounge, but it’s not bad. It’s a fairly small space. They expanded it a bit to add a full service bar, but even after the expansion, pre-covid, it was overcrowded and often had a waiting list to enter.
Delta has a nice lounge at Seatac, I believe between A and B gates. Alaska has several lounges and their new flagship one at N gates is really nice.
Good intel here, looks like the priority pass benefit has some options as well. The Alaska lounge is listed and doesn’t say anything about flying Alaska to enter, which is interesting.
One quick caveat, the majority of the time I’ve used their lounges, Alaska has a sign out that says something along the lines of “Due to space constraints, we are not honoring priority pass at this time”. This is especially true during peak travel times.
I had an Amex Biz Platinum that I used to get into Centurion as well as the Delta lounges when I flew Delta. I got rid of that card recently because I’m not traveling as much for work these days and there are a couple other premium cards I prefer.
hit the alaska lounge last time I was in seattle with zero issues.
Is it May yet? @JCO
I’ve been playing Chambers Bay on TGC19 PS4 almost everyday to try to get my fix until we actually are there!
Got the two final pieces of good news sorted ahead of coming to Seattle in May - I don’t have to work any of the time I’m there so it’s a true holiday, and most importantly we’ve been able to confirm that I’m still able to fly with my dog. Now if only my swing was in any sort of decent shape, I could get properly excited.
