The cutoff/commitment date I’ve been given so we can determine how many rooms to hold is March 1st
The golf courses have been inked in! The Home Course is now on Friday because they are hosting a (college, I think?) tournament over the weekend.
5/14 – The Home Course
5/15 – Chambers Bay
5/16 – Gold Mountain
Each day, tee times will be used. The tee times will start at 7am and go until about 9am, depending on how many players are participating. This is a COVID requirement; they don’t want a bunch of us in an area before starting if they did a back 9 shotgun or something.
Some other things I want to lay out/make clear:
Because of COVID, we can’t have any big lunches, dinners, or receptions.
Essentially, as host, I can only hold the tee times and the hotel rooms right now. You are on your own the rest of the time.
You are more than welcome to use the free replays if there is availability. Remember, only the morning rounds “count” to the event.
You can go play elsewhere. You can go kick back and drink somewhere. You can go sightsee or hike. Whatever. But, as I said, it’s kind of up to you to craft your afternoons and evenings. I know @Szyd was saying he’d be open to hosting some at his… taproom was it?
Don’t be afraid to get into small groups and do things together. I still want this to be a fun trip! I’m sure some of the locals, if they don’t want to be guides, can give a ton of suggestions.
Lastly, again, decision date is by March 1st.
Cheers!

We’re trying to figure out American Airline’s discriminatory new ESA standards, but we’re both pretty much bought into a WA trip for a good fortnight. Just trying to figure out pushing our wedding week (again) from April to April 2022, then we’ll know for sure.
Will be playing 36 a day for sure. Anyway the group booking can get us guaranteed replay tee times? I remember when I did the group (it was just the two of us) we were able to lock them in a couple weeks beforehand.
