OATW Presents: Tiki at the Kiki 24—please see charity info

I did try to find an Airbnb but nothing in the area that would be cheaper or closer than a hotel

Hotels are five minutes or less from the course and the after round hang (wright place tavern) is literally a Bo Jackson throw from 4 tee box.

Crossposting. Sorry.

You’re already my favorite golf friend but Bo Jackson is my all time favorite athlete. You’re spot is solidified in perpetuity after this.

30/32 signed up on Unknown with about two weeks left. Would love to ask for another tee time to get us to 36 before league on Monday night. Do we have any stragglers, procrastinators, vagabonds, lurkers, no good hustlers out there that want to join?

Is there any information on Oberlin that Friday? Looks like there is 11 people signed up

I gotta check with the assistant pro but I think he has my 2 groups going off at 1 or 2. I can take 7 guests at a time so I’ll try to get the final pairings posted asap. If anyone signed up knows they can’t make that work let me know. I’ll try to give priority to anyone coming in that morning.

Seeing a few deleted rows on the google sheet. Anyone registered on Unknown that needs to be removed? Trying to keep an accurate count and hoping to finalize tee times and pairings in coming days. Thanks all :v:

I’m thirsty for Mai tai’s.

I didn’t sign up for Friday (forgot that was a thing), but if there’s an open spot for that I’ll take it

Unfortunately I had to withdraw from the event. I tried to take my name off the Google sheet but couldn’t. I’ve withdrawn in unknown

Little late here, but those hotels off of 91 are very close to course, easy to get to. Unfortunately no good hotels near downtown Willoughby which is like a mini version of Findlay. An Airbnb walking distance to downtown Willoughby would be ideal for location to golf and nightlife but the hotel off the interstate would be a cheap Uber away and likely just as easy.

The Hampton in in downtown Cleveland is only line 130 a night for double queens. Just have to park offsite or pay $45 for valet. Not a long drive to the course, so I think that’s probably the best deal for being nice enough, and close to some nightlife on Friday

Highly recommend a downtown hotel for anyone not concerned with a longer drive on Saturday. Aloft downtown puts you right in the Flats.

Also if anyone wants to meet up for drinks the night before I’d very much be up to join.

I haven’t been to Noble Beast in quite a while, so that is high on my priority list

Aloft is sweet but be aware whoever you room with will hear loud and clear whatever happens in the bathroom haha. No ceilings on those joints, very open…

Also anyone know an Andrew LaVecchia? Need to get his handicap in Unknown for the event scoring.

How many people are coming into town Friday night? Trying to make the decision on if I should come up Friday and hangout or bite the bullet and head up at 5am on Saturday and stay Saturday night.

Tee times and groups are set for Friday Oberlin Golf (google doc) Thanks to the folks that passed to ensure out of towners can come. 1:30 and 1:40 pm next Friday. It’s BYOB but there’s a limited snack bar as well without booze. Plan accordingly :v:
