I confirmed what I already believed to be true today about OATW Roost events: “If you build it, they will come.”
I had a wonderful day. I played the best round of golf of my life, but even if I didn’t, I would have had as awesome a day thanks to you all. This golf blog that I joined two years ago has brought so much joy to my life thanks to the people that I’ve met because of it, and today I got to give a little back for all that I’ve gained from this place already in my short time here.
Thank you all for coming, truly. Final tally on what we raised for @GooseTrego coming tomorrow after I get some sleep.

Couldn’t agree more with everything you said. Everyone had an awesome time and I love we raised so much for Goose. Huge props to you, Courtney, and Glen for pivoting to an A+ tailgate despite the venue’s logistical issues for the original postgame festivities plan.
Coming home with some hardware for the first time from an NLU event was a very nice cherry on top of an amazing afternoon with an even better squad.

To everyone that planned, pivoted, thrived, and survived, I thank you.
One thing I always try to tell myself is “turn your burdens into blessings.” Cancer has been the biggest burden my family and I have had to carry, but from that, our lives have been filled with blessings. This community is a big one.
Thank you for being there, supporting us, and showing us the power of community.
