Merry Monday Morning Matchplayers!
We have 60 players signed up and 55 players paid. We just need 4 more players to sign up and those last few payments and the pod groupings will get started. Thanks to @PersistentlyOverPar it looks like the the grouping won’t be as tough an undertaking this year which is great.
Below - an updated map. I’m really liking the spread we have this year.

I’m thinking this glorious @RyanNas logo on the front with “Pod Winner” or “Pod Runner-up” on the back? That way everyone who gets out of the pod stage this year gets something fun. Last year we were a bit hamstrung by the $10 budget we could only get stuff to the semi-finalists. I’m really trying to expand the rewards this year to spread stuff around and really have fun with it.

I am basically a boomer when it comes to The Refuge. Saw it start start, endured the first round of the nest, went AWOL and now come back for the random event or two. So I apologize for being out of the loop.
Why is the star in the upper left corner of the state? Could we put it in the upper right corner to indicate the location of the final matches? Just throwing it out there. If you say, “Well, scuff, had you been around, you would know that’s our logo and we aren’t going to change it, idiot.” That’s cool too.
It’s a little bit of “The star is where Findlay is in Ohio which is where our glorious leader and founder of the No-Findlaying-Up event @jgolf1 lives” and a bit “because that’s where a start exists on the state of Ohio flag.”
Correct. It was a homage to Findlay being the capital city of the roost. 
I can work with @flanwilder cleaning these up…but can squeeze the logo in so it fits on a round marker. I imagine the other shape is good for a sticker but might be annoying as a marker.
I don’t know what you want the front and back to say…but just let me know at some point.

We’ve got our pods COMPLETE for the 2023 match play! Thanks to the work of @PersistentlyOverPar this was much, much easier than last year.
I just have two questions. Should we go ahead and start releasing the pods? Wait till Friday? Wait till next Monday?
Also, please answer the poll below. Imagine getting out of your pod as a winner or runner up. As a reward you get the image below as one of the options. Which would you choose?
Personally think the right one is a way better logo for pod winners. Left is a nice one just for general stuff.
