This is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen a warehouse do.

I want something else ridiculous, I had a package from the NLU warehouse intended for Spokane go to NJ first. Thatâs the post officeâs fault but still a head scratcher.

Long computer science story short, it all comes down to cost of logistics via the Traveling Salesman problem. Extremely crude example but if it costs 1k to go direct, most shipping companies are going to take the cheaper route of 300+400 if it also helps other customers along the way.

All I can do is SMDH and continue to try and find ways to foolproof this stuff. It does make me nuts!!
