Curious if there is gonna be new stock or restock on putter covers?
Tie die skeleton circle mallet cover or a different black circle mallet cover specifically.
One that fits a 7.5 well.
Thanks!

This might be a stretch, but Iād love to see the NLU store selling some non-branded items.
I think itād be cool if yāall used your influence to become a reseller of smaller boutique golf equipment/accessory companies and help them reach a larger market of golf sickos.
I could be wrong, but I think thatās kinda the point of the discount codes they occasionally offer for their partners like H&B and Rhoback.
If itās not NLU branded, I donāt see why itād go in the NLU store. If a smaller shop wanted to get involved with NLU they could pay to sponsor and offer a discount code like every other brand.
Shout out a specific brand or two you wish NLU would partner with.
Golf Daddy.
I kid, but I realistically donāt have a list of smaller retailers because Iām not aware of them. I was thinking along the lines of what sentinel golf does, but maybe a little less extreme.
Iām generally just not big on a lot of branding but want to support NLU and smaller producers, so relatively plain jane stuff, even just some offerings from folks who already provide some of their products would be cool. Winston, Smathers & Branson and the like.
Or, and these admittedly might be bad examples, stuff like Burning Cart Society, Sugarloaf, Seamus.
Like I said it might be a reach but itād be interesting what stuff the team could find that theyād want to put in there.
Why not just cut out the middle man and buy from everyone you just named if you like them? Wouldnāt that be a win win? Seems like a headache to become a retailer for a brand you have no ties to. Not to mention if it conflicted with actual sponsors as well.
I think his point is there may be brands out there he is unaware of?
Good points made by both sides here I think. More partnerships like Stone Creek Coffee I think would be welcome.
Yeah this made me think of the hand wrap stuff that I know someone on here produces and sells. Or Buckeye Bag Tags. Just small stores youād only hear about through word of mouth, and they could get some extra exposure in the NLU store
I think thatās the birdie tape. Now that would be cool to see the members on here like buckeye etc get some exposure.
BirdieWrap, big fan - hands are always cracked and used to NuSkin more.
Stone Creek is who I was thinking of when I wrote my comment. If a smaller brand/retailer wants to work with NLU, they can sponsor a non-main podcast and have a referral code to direct people to their website. NLU doesnāt have SC stuff in their store. Stone Creek has NLU inspired stuff on their store.
Trojan
Stone Creek also has like 8 store fronts and is very successful. There are plenty of smaller shops that make good stuff people might be interested in buying who canāt afford the cost of an ad buy on a top 150 spots podcast
For me as a consumer of their content, anything thatās pulling them away from making content is something Iād rather not see. I donāt see why NLU should search those opportunities out when it should be the other way around

If you think they should be open to accepting discount codes to give out free shoutouts to move traffic to smaller retailers, thatās one thing. Actively seeking out those retailers and doing the leg work, and then putting them on their own store to have to figure out a rev share thing is an entirely different thing.
Yeah fair enough. Just a thought.
Should they stop producing all merch so they have time for more #content? This is just silly
And nobody thinks they should dedicate hours upon hours searching out small brands and hammering out complicated business deals. It was just a nice suggestion that they could maybe have a way to connect really small shops that they like to their audience.
Itās not that serious.
I also feel like the general concept of using the NLU community at large to help spread the word of other smaller or lesser known businesses or products can be, and probably is being, accomplished throughout multiple threads here. I feel like this has always been a true āif you see something, say somethingā community, for better or worse.
100%. Still, the amount of people who listen to the pod and shop the store who would never dare set foot on here is probably extremely large
