In my experience, yes. Large in both.

Anyone have fit comparisons for the Levelwear Dean vest? Compared to say Holderness and Bourne vests or the white in house one in the pro shop? I wear a Large in both of those and they fit great but don’t want to be swimming

It’s fleece shedding - brushed fabric will sometimes shed more at first because the fibers are brushed for that soft fleece pile, but that also makes some of the fibers loose- wash cold and hang dry usually helps with this as well.
