Has anyone here tried to use the Windrunner as a poor man’s rain jacket? Trying to find some potential rain gear options that won’t cost me a second mortgage.
It is fine for mist or drizzle, but it is not a proper raincoat. Great for blocking wind.

I’ve worn it in the pouring rain golfing. Would not say it’s waterproof but it also worked more or less.
