The Regulars are coming out.
Youll have noise enough before long.
Meanwhile I’m over here waiting for those big guy threads like:

I see we found the same Wikipedia page. (I am in no way a small, so i was searching to see what the answer was.)
One if by land two if by sea?
Watching the first response go with “redcoats” instead of “british”…

all yall hitting google right now hahaha
he should’ve shouted “Good Morning Damon!”
Neither were right apparently so i’m safe
Okay this was a tricky and sinister one of me, so I am going with the first person who replied with what we have be taught in school forever (though misguided).
@nvaji12 you get the honor here.
As a Boston kid who field-tripped The Freedom Trail a dozen times, I’m embarrassed I didn’t know this.
You trickster you!
I was 100% on this take before I read the story of the logo. I was up in arms of the putter boy’s lie angle being terrible, etc.
I read a story about how Donald Ross was asked to model a putt for a sculptor and the boy was the product. Ross told the artist that the appearance was not golf-correct (I think), but the boy was made to be a sundial, so the angle was necessary.
That little twist of quirk and history made me OK with the logo. Not my favorite, but off my hate list.
the regulars were on the move
As a history major who is most certainly not a size small it pained me to not answer this.
Shoutout to the guy who cut out the middle man and posted the wikipedia link (he’s now edited it). Thats a bold move…
I’ll throw you a small prize pack to as you got it as I was typing up my reply - hit me in the DMs with your address
“The Status Quo has changed son”
“I love you, but you are not serious people.”
