Late to this but we are the same size. Iām 6ā2 195 42L and 33 waist I wear medium in H&B. It fits pretty slim but I prefer that to blousy around the waist
wow, we are almost the exact same. great timing with the spring re-stock happening today. I have basically the same issue with my thick luscious thighs too. Pants either look like bell bottoms or yoga pants.
I sometimes feel like I need to get in the gym more with the size medium stuff I wear, but then I put on a large and I hate all the extra material.
Being a 33 Waist is a true struggle. Tight Mediums or baggy large life.

Yeah, Iām at the point where my waiste is a size 34, but I have to wear a size 36 to get a pair of shorts or pants that fit on my thighs and donāt look like yoga pants like @tnord described above. Tailoring is about the only option to get stuff to fit properly, but that gets expensive quick.
