Is the medium Betts sweater really that much more of a slimmer fit than the large? I’ve had a large before and it literally fit perfect everywhere except the torso.
Partially why I can’t buy the Betts anymore. The large was big on me but the medium looked like I was wearing a wetsuit. I’m right in between L/M and neither fit well on me
Let’s go babyyyyy!
WTF is this?
H&B gets a lot more tailored the smaller you go in sizing. I am in between and XL and a L on the Ward sweater but have to XL and I always feel like I look sloppy in it.
I’m in between sizes on the Betts also. For me, I’ve found that the M works best over just a t shirt or polo and the L over long sleeves/thermals.
No. 1 Draft Pick that
Me just sitting here after teaching in 80 degree Florida weather trying to justify the H&B hoodie
This is a pretty accurate description! I just picked up one from Riv on Sunday and can confirm this might be the softest hoodie I’ve worn. I am 5’-11" 200 and got the large, I tried on the M and it was too snug, I’m usually between M/L for polos depending on fit, usually L for outerwear if it isn’t oversized. The shamrock absolutely pops, great great color in person.
I have way too many teal/blue-ish polos already so I forced myself to get the White and Amaretto this time. But damn, there’s some awesome blues in there.
I currently have three tabs open on my laptop. One tab open to the NLU Pro Shop, one is my budgeting spreadsheet, and the other is a listing for an apartment I’m likely applying for here soon.
A true battle of the wills here.
But think about how good you will look in your new apartment with nlu merch.
I’m having the same battle of the wills over here knowing my wife and I are going on a vacation in literally two weeks which I know we will need funds for.
I am a sucker for a pro shop at a new club or on a buddies trip. I have to use a lot of will power to not spend on too much merch in other places. I say this as I have work clothes older than my 9 year old.
Gotta make a good first impression with my new neighbors. You’re absolute right.
You can always edit the budgeting spreedsheet if the tab is still open.
I mean, I have a clothing budget so I technically have but then I know NLU will drop a fall line and then Homefield will do a refresh of schools I want merch for and I’ll for sure want Pebble stuff when we’re there for the US Open. Adulting is hard.
There’s like 2 weeks out of the year that you can wear it. That should be more than enough justification for you.
That is how I feel all the time!
“When is the next time I’m gonna be at the Riv pro shop?!” -he says on his annual visit to the pro shop
RIP to my wallet if the LACC pro shop is open during US Open week.
Size Large was sold out already(!) so I had to size up into an XL for the Shamrock Hoodie. I’m a solid L in Rhoback, so hoping it translates well.
