Haven’t had an issue with the Sullivan yet, but all of my HB outerwear I’ve had issues with. Lots of threads pulling on almost every piece I’ve owned from them.
At the H&B price points, there shouldn’t be quality issues like that. Especially on their outerwear.
Those white “threads” may be the fibers from the polyfill in the seam allowance loosening up a bit after wash. Poly insulation is made of short stable fibers and/or filaments that are made in to sheets to sew/quilt between layers for warmth. They aren’t woven or knit like normal fabrics and sometimes the edges shed a bit. The sewing treads are the blue threads there on the edge (merrow stitch) which seem to be in place still.
We have a reorder of grey in the works. Sign up for the back in stock email alerts to get a message when hit the shelves again.
Thanks for the info, sounds like this is somewhat to be expected then?
Anyone have any tips for keeping the shirt sleeve rain jacket from getting really wrinkled? And can I just iron this normally putting something between the iron and material?
Invest in a steamer, safe to get the wrinkles out of everything
Club pro tip right there
I vaguely recall seeing something about this in this or similar thread, but seemingly not using the right search terms (or I made it up).
Any care instructions or cleaning suggestions for the Tyvek Shoe Bag? Inside is getting a bit nasty, was hoping it’s safe to turn inside out and throw in the washing machine.
Yeah tyvek is more than fine in the washer just run the gentle cycle
I want the NLU rhoback stuff but I don’t like the gaudy Rhoback dog logo. I want to take the logo…off.
We allow people who hate dogs on the Refuge?
Just not a big logo on the chest guy. Might as well big the RL Big Pony to me.
Lol it’s literally like a square inch
As far as makers marks go, Rhoback generally does a decent job not making it the focal point and allowing it to blend into the shirt. Especially on their louder polos.
H&B is coming out with a hoodie in 2023 so your logo concerns will be gone at that point.
This is a seriously hot take. I’ve never looked at a Rhoback shirt (and my wife and I own a bunch of them) and thought, I’d like this better without the dog…
