I’m still shocked that Alignment Stick Covers are a thing and that despite his protests, the @MerchCzar allowed them to be stocked. (Actually, that latter part I’m not shocked about - Merchie is a man of the people and wants to give people what he wants.)
I guess if you’re going to spend too much money on a Bubba Whip, you need to give it a hat? Not TRYING to yuck anyone’s yums, and god knows I’m a guy who LOOKS to find new ways to spend money on golf, but on this one, I’m out. And confused.

They do that, for sure. My bright yellow piece of plastic isn’t going to win any awards. But…it’s literally a stick. It’s not like a nicer looking alignment stick will do anything better than what I can buy for $10 (and way cheaper than that if I just go to Home Depot).
As someone who spends too much on headcovers, I guess this all falls into the same bucket, and yet designer alignment sticks feel so insane to me. And a cover for them feels SUPER crazy. Not sure why I’ve created a line in the sand.

A friend of mine made his own Bubba Whips from hickory dowels. They look amazing, cost virtually nothing, and apparently much to @greebs’s dismay, they have a Metropolitan Golf Club cover.

I mean, I get your point. I do have have an alignment stick cover, but it was like $6.99 on Amazon. I basically got it to keep them together in the bag.
I wouldn’t spend $40.00 on one. But as they say, to each their own.

I think the only legitimate argument in their favor is that a cover prevents them from scratching another club.
Depending on the type of headcover, it’s not that hard to toss the driver in the bag and have the alignment stick do some damage.
