Loose, relaxed fit.
I’d wear the tech hoodie to workout or to play golf a la a quarter zip. Couch hoodie definitely doesn’t have a zipper, and I’d wear it around the house or to walk the dog early morning or late in the evening over the pjs.
ETA: essentially the center logo hoodies with a left logo.
are you confusing tech hoodie and hybrid hoodie?

Hmm. That is exactly how I utilize my technical hoodie.
Can you give me more regarding textures, fit, styling that would persuade you to hang out in it vrs. wear it as a more formal piece?
I’m kinda envisioning one of those sheep wool style Patagonias. Just super super comfy and soft but not very versitile.

This one seems relatively easy to me…
Hybrid Hoodie = athleisure (i.e. go play golf in it)
Lightweight Hoodie = couch-sitting
Technical Hoodie = either of the above but in colder weather 
It’s “athletic” enough to wear on a jog or round of golf but also comfy enough to be “sweats.”

Not sure what he’s thinking, but for me my “hanging out” sweatshirts are usually super soft cotton with less structure. My “going out” sweatshirts usually have some sort of blend and a little more structured material.

I bought my technical hoodie a size up and it’s a perfect combo. Ton of room when wearing it on the golf course, and it’s almost blanket-like when I’m chilling on a winter Sunday in Detroit.

Tech hoodie does not have a zipper, which threw me off. Mine works great on the couch, and in basically any other situation.

I honestly believe that the name “Technical Hoodie” is misleading people. If you’re like me, you hear “technical hoodie” and think it has some spandex and other non-cotton material in it to help breathe/stretch/dry. That was what I was expecting. What I got instead was an old-school cotton feel that is most goddamn comfortable hoodie I own, right out of the box.
@desperateunder105 Do you actually have an NLU tech hoodie? I’m not trying to be a dick. I’m just guessing you don’t if you don’t consider it a dog-walking, over the PJs, lounging around hoodie. Or you are confusing it with the hybrid hoodie.

Definitely. My son has the technical hoodie and it’s definitely not major technical. But it is 80/20 blend. I’m thinking about getting one in my size and would absolutely lounge in it. I was just saying in general that my “laying around” sweats are super soft 100% cotton.

I have avoided the tech hoodies because the neck looks weird to me. It looks like it comes up far on the neck and I am not a fan of the turtleneck feel. I am more likely to purchase the lightweight 1/4 zip for this reason.

Big mea culpa. I was confusing the hybrid hoodie with the technical hoodie. The tech hoodie with the left logo is what I’m trying to describe.
