Ah damn, yeah we must’ve had one from the last batch come back into inventory (normally we use a different round of SKU’s for items that have changes, but I got cute this time.) Happy to exchange/return for you. Shoot me me or Neil a DM if any questions.
As for the weight/transparency of it - I normally wear with no undershirt but it’s more of a breathable beach/pool/fishing/lounging piece that’s ideal for humid Florida weather.
I don’t wear anything under it but I tend to run a little warmer (see @tron statement about weight gain) but I will wear this piece under a vest or light coat if I’m trying to layer. Perfect piece for a cool morning but warm afternoon.
Also, while we are on the topic of layering, I can’t express enough how good the full zip reversible vest is. It’s one of the better pieces they have ever made on their private label. Well worth the $98 (plus your nest discount)
The Technical Hoodie is off the charts nice. Well worth $75. I will be ordering a second one soon. It does run just a little large. I typically wear a large and probably could have got away with a medium but depends on how you prefer your sweatshirts to fit.
I was going to play tomorrow and wear the new H&B crewneck and the vest then I realized I would be WAY to “involved” as @MerchCzar would say. Vest, sweater, towel, nest headcover, St Rappeo ballmarker might have been over the top.
My scripting for the Detroit Refuge Event included the vest and the pocket polo. A little over involved, but the quality of the stuff is just so good and…
I have to be careful with this sometimes. I find myself buying too many things from one place and I have to remind myself that it’s good to support them, but I don’t actually work for them.
I sent @tron a text two or three years ago with everything I had purchased at that time. It was one of the more pathetic and comical pictures ever. The Wayward drive logo spread all over my kitchen floor on headcovers hats flag etc…
Yeah…I’ve probably not bought more items that I’ve put in my cart than I’ve bought. I really like their stuff, but don’t want to look like a billboard. haha.
I refuse to wear my hat while playing golfing, as I feel like the hat plus towel is too much. More power to the crew rocking all the gear, but it ain’t for me.
I very rarely wear my hat on the course because of this. Couple rounds here or there, but for the most part I don’t trot my NLU gear out on the course. Mostly because up until March, the only things I had were t-shirts, but I don’t see this philosophy changing moving forward.
I’ve got a hat that doesn’t fit, a towel that always falls off my bag, and a sweatshirt that I love. That said would probably own more if the CAD didn’t suck ass right now.
I wouldn’t have an issue with pairing a towel, ball marker, or any other accessory with a clothing item. But I’m not sure I could wear a hat and shirt with the logo at the same time. Might be a bit too much. Plus I’m not sure I’d want to explain to people who have no idea about NLU why I’m wearing multiple logos from a group of podcasters/youtubers.
Sure and that’s totally fair. I’m just not about it.
I am also the kind of idiot who won’t wear TaylorMade stuff because that’s my name and I have heard that joke about 65 times. Hahahaha. So I’m not in any way saying anyone should care about my opinion on this.
You want to get a fucking whole NLU wardrobe with all the accessories, fuck yeah. Get it.
I’m with you on that. I’m definitely harder on myself and how I look than I am on anyone else. I might be overly self-conscience at times, but I don’t give a shit what anyone else looks like or does.
