Big fan of Alex’s too. But I’ve even got the Ms. converted over to Emma these days.
sidenote…anybody else find themselves needing to eat more? the last few weeks I’m having a harder and harder time sticking to my 17/7 IF cycle.
half a PB sammich at like 8-9pm is becoming a habit. weight hasn’t been going up so it’s not a big deal. I’m down about 7lbs since I started in Jan, but would like to get back on that IF cycle.
im on the same 17/7 cycle. I find it really helpful to ride either right before my cycle ends, or right before it starts. I eat 12-7, so riding at 11 or 6 ish helps me stay on track.
If im starving I try to eat pickles or some other almost zero calorie food
I forgot I took this ride a year ago. I had a big fade in the last 15 minutes but still beat last year’s ride by 88 kJ! Small improvements lead to big gains, I guess.
Also, is Alice In Chains the most underrated band of the ‘90s? Jar of Flies was awesome back in the day. I will look for more rides with them on the playlist.
Took it outside to the local bike track today to do a 30 minute power test. Been doing a mix of indoor and outdoor power zone training since late February with plans to do some time trials once racing opens up. 303 watts for 30 minutes (on a real power meter) which totally blows my PR out of the water. I want to hold this for 60min later in the summer though. Got a lot of work to do. Peloton really helps.
Seems like it’d be pretty easy to just add an asterisk on the leaderboard next to rides that have been paused. With a two year old running around the pause button will definitely get used.
They said trying to figure out a way where the leaderboard maintains integrity with the pause feature is still something they are figuring out which is why there is no concrete release date yet. The new programs feature looks like it will be interesting especially for someone trying to do more than just the bike.
I could have used a pause button today when I realized I didn’t turn my fan on. Instead I hopped off about 5 minutes into the ride to turn it on and hopped back on again.
