NLU Peloton Thread - Weekly Ride: 30 minute 2010’s Hip Hop Ride with Ally from 7/25/24

Miss that guy. I wonder if he would ever come back. His HRZ rides were intense.

yeah i miss him and jennifer jacobs. my highest output ever was one of her 45 minute rides.

Jennifer Jacobs (and to a lesser degree Hannah Corbin) look so similar to a few women I crushed on exceptionally hard back in my single days. I’m almost happy Jennifer isn’t on there any more it was distracting.

Creep away @greebs

Ha, I appreciate the effort but we good here. (And for what it’s worth Jennifer seems like … a LOT of work. I just think she’s pretty.)

Anyone who named her climb rides “Jacobs’ Peaks” might need a certain level of attention…

Planning on doing a low impact into yoga tonight - anyone got a favorite low impact ride with good music?

I might have been able to endure a 60min ride with Jennifer as an instructor. I missed out there for sure.

Things have been absolute chaos at our house for a week now, and we had to move the bike upstairs to a very unfavorable location. I managed to spit out a new 20min PR last night even with very limited climbs so I’m pretty happy about that. Hella solid playlist too.

Chalk up another PR with Emma.

my folks are coming to visit, and I haven’t seen them since last July so I probably won’t be able to get any rides in. Hoping to sneak in another tonight and a long one tomorrow morning, even though going 4 days straight will be tough.

Emma’s low impact rides are fantastic. Lean more towards indie rock if you’re into that kind of thing.

I do a ton of low impact rides. My favorites so far have been Christine’s from 7/11/19 and Emma’s from 4/29/20

I hate low impact rides. my junk falls asleep after about 15min of sitting.

That’s less than spin classes were in Chicago pre Vid. I am guessing it’s closer to double that with people wanting to GTFO and do stuff.

The Emma 15 min Low Impact from 9/20/19 is a favorite of mine for those days you need a short ride. Or stack it with others. Probably my most repeated ride. Good soundtrack, too, at least to me.

Thanks man!

That’s a good looking garage. I hope your profile is wrong and you’re not still in GA because I can’t fathom trying to do a peloton ride outside over here in SC during the summer. Or you own 8 commercial sized fans ready to go. “Sweat” is an understatement of what you are about to do.

It was actually cold in GA today…made no sense.

Farily chilly over here with that coldfront that came through yesterday with all the wind. Just preparing for the hurricane rain supposedly coming on Saturday. I am sure that will all be followed up next week by the return of Satan’s Butthole and we’ll have 5 straight months of 90+ degrees in Columbia.
