IMO bump and runs can be played with either grip. Whichever you find the most success with and feels comfortable/repeatable. The full swing (east west) grip will tend to promote more of an opportunity for wrists to hinge, so many like using a putter grip (north south) to take the hinging out a bit and use a stroke for bump and runs. No one size fits all solution here though. Find what works for you.
Thank you for the kind words. Thankfully I have had a few rounds in the high 80s but they are very much the exception than the norm. Trying to make them more of the average rather than the exceptional now lol!
Really great content, Hueber really knows his stuff!
Also @ChickPhilA 's Yay’s! are infectious
Really enjoyed this for so many reasons. The whole video is Positivity Inc.
Hueber’s analysis and coaching is always so straightforward and clear, but Soly’s game ain’t my game, so it was nice hear him talk through distances and scenarios that are very relatable.
I’ve struggled out of the sand early this season, and his focus on the early release and follow through is something that will stick in my head next round.
@ChickPhilA your bump and run 7i is aspirational.
Will be efforting @ChickPhilA for a 7iron bump and run lesson during our next Electric Phactory round
Adjusted putter grip was a success today! Thanks to all involved!
Can confirm, it’s an absolute joy having @ChickPhilA on our team and at so many of our Roost events. Everyone deserves to tee it up with her at least once!
Due to excessive duty nights and network Issues the one night I had allocated to watch it, I’m just watching this now. I LOVE this episode! I already knew that @ChickPhilA was an amazing human being, but this episode was infectious in all the best possible ways. I learned plenty, had fun, and experienced some deep catharsis. 10/10, will likely watch it again.
