Easily the best I’ve scrambled in my life. A no double bogey round of 82 out there is the hardest I’ve ever worked on a golf course haha.
Shoutout my caddy Zac Loyd who was absolutely carrying me home. Good guy rec if anyone is looking to start a list. Had him all 5 rounds. He works hard, is a solid green reader and loves nlu. Have his phone # for return trips.

As I sit in the Portland airport I feel like this will be an Oscars speech where I forget people to thank.
This trip was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life. The first round on Saturday with Brendan or Brandon or whatever his name is @BTonk3 who became a friend at Pac and a winning teammate on trails and the best audience for my dumb jokes. @Harbo1 who is such a positive man to have around and worth NYC prices to hopefully visit soon. @tjosu who holds the title of true mayor of Tempotown and will win election next year in a landslide.
@Waffles who saw me hit maybe three good shots at Pac and hyped me up throughout the whole week like I was the best golfer alive. @catshannon who was deep in the process and a great player. And of course @MerchCzar who hit a few three woods that I still can’t fathom.
@Dex_G who battled his way through food poisoning for two of the most fun matches I’ve had at Sheep and Bandon. @tkeats who graciously let me play his Vice instead of mine the second shot of the round. And my fellow Missourian @BogiesOrBetter for being a swell guy and for better or worse introducing me to Redman (this is a safe space right?)

@enriquedlcm who might be the most positive person alive. Was so quick to complement my good shots it was unreal. @khernandez who learned what a 5/5/5 Nassau was then immediately took my money. And @fullbodyfix who graciously let me utilize his caddy for a number of shots and golfed his ball.
@skibum232 for absolutely having a blast and convincing on more than one occasion to “do something stupid and dangerous” at Bandon Dunes
@ajsHTX was kind and a kindred comedic spirit on trails and @sundaybag for allowing me to show the world that St. Louis is superior to Kansas City at least for now. Hopefully a rematch happens sooner rather than later.
@FlightedHoselRocket for being a stranger a week ago and now a roommate and friend.
@Tron for being a good sport and hearing my St. Louis support. Whenever you want we have James beard restaurants and great cocktail programs. First drinks on me.
@desperateunder105 for being an absolute mensch and humoring me in my attempt to defeat Doak. We came close but he won 2-1 this time. That bartender at Mckees is still thinking about us.
It will be a long time before I forget hitting a 4 iron from 150 out on #4 at Bandon that rolled down the hill and played the slope to 8 feet for a birdie. Or the eagle on 18 at Sheep Ranch. I’m looking forward to getting my $25 skin money sometime in 2031.

It’s hard to put into words what I experienced these past few days…What a special place, truly a sicko’s paradise; however, what made this trip so memorable is the people. I’ll cherish the jokes, banter and deep conversations we had. In-lieu of tagging all of you, I’ll just repeat what I told @Soly during our farewells: I found my tribe.

The shepherd’s cane is vanilla has hell. There are like 2 or 3 symbols they could’ve used that actually represents it and its history
