From an aesthetic perspective, Basketball shoe design peaked between 1984 and 1992. Almost everything before and after is trash.

Which is why Nike’s most popular releases these days are different colorways and special editions of shoes from that era. My shoe closet looks very similar today as it did in middle school (minus the Pumps I can’t track down) and my 9 year old son asks me for the same style shoes that I asked my parents for.

Davidoff is a cigarette brand. My friends dad owned a cigar shop, the cigarettes we used to sneak were Davidoff’s, Gauloises, and Sher Bidis.
