Pains me to admit I played basketball in Zigtech’s at a Reebok camp and once wore Reebok pumps for an entire season.
I stand by Reebok pumps being cool though

The 3s-7s were awesome shoes and I would have done bad things as a kid to get a pair. I’ve been shocked how comfortable 1s are and they have become my everyday shoes.
I’ll have to look at the Kobe’s again. But I don’t remember ever seeing a pair I liked.

I have a pair of asics that are “hoka like” for my nightly neighborhood walks. When they die I will be buying Hokas.

I would LOVE to see pumps come back. I absolutely had a pair each year of middle school basketball. Switched to Jordans in Jr. High.

I remember getting the same pair they wore in the McDonalds all American game - I was so excited, pumped them up every 2 minutes while I sat the bench in 6&7th grade.

I remember playing against a kid that would pump them up before every foul shot. But one time the ref bounced the ball to him as he was leaned over and the ball hit him square in the face. I immediately logged that information into my brain to pick my spots carefully.
