Mistletoe Masters - Sat. Dec. 12. @ City Club (Pairings Post 650)

There are only so many places in the Country you can play golf year round. Fortunately there is a strong refuge contingent in the southeast.

Many ideas have been floated about fancy courses and resort lodges. But move fast a break things is the way. Soooooo.

I’m thinking we should just run back strapped style at Marrietta City Club. It’s affordable. Hotel on site. Refuge Aces to be had. Walking distance to a brewery.

$100 per person

Includes:
All day golf
chick fil a biscuit breakfast
boxed lunch
Tee gift

Incredible timing. I was just thinking about how I should plan a golf road trip somewhere south for either of those two weekends.

@anon3021505 and I are both in as we will be road-tripping together. (I have not talked to him about this… or ever met him in person for that matter)

Also I’m gonna guess that the 12th will work better for most people because it’s not as close to Christmas? I dunno.

Do we go back to city club? Do we try and do Bobby Jones, Dogwood (low key woke), or Wolf Creek?

Five posts in and no Google spreadsheet. What are we even doing here?

BJGC was tooooooo expensive. Like stupid.

I know city clubs price. It’s affordable.

Rented course makes the day.

I’m past creative thought and into planning.

City club is the play for Saturday. Friday and Sunday are open for adventure.

I’ll call Mr. Fore tomorrow and try and lock in dec 12.

If that is a success then we are off to the races with details to follow.

As this falls on the third night of Hanukkah jewishunbound.com recommends the cocktail: Rabban Gin-liel. It involves crème de violette and pickled grapes. I will make a few buckets worth
