I’ve become friends with a guy who owns a middle eastern restaurant in my town. Five years ago I wouldn’t have tried it assuming I wouldn’t like. But it is by far the best food I’ve ever had. I’m there at least once a week.
I miss living across the street from a halal cart so much. Just reading this thread is killing me.
Most of the stuff in Dearborn is Lebanese I think, but much Indian and Iranian food too. The desserts are head exploding

I’ve had curry, just not sure on the quality or authenticity of it. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t “tastes so good make you wanna slap yo mama” either.

There was a lebanese restaurant next to the court I worked at in Holland, and I ate there so often that when I told them I was moving back to the states the owner asked for my email and keeps sending me messages about how he’s trying to get his daughter to move to the states and marry me. The food is so good that I’m kind of hoping he succeeds.

I voted no. There’s a shit ton of people who want to attend that seem much more enjoyable to play.
