Hey everyone, I have some unfortunate news.
I reached out to @heater recently to see if he was interested in a round since we had a great time playing at Maxamania, and he informed me that he had a bad accident and had been in the hospital for the past month. He passed along some more info today, and it sounds like he has a long road to recovery after a spinal injury in a diving accident up north.
There are more details at the gofundme page below. The Ability Lab in Chicago is pretty legit, so let’s hope they get him back on his feet and back on the golf course for future Maxamania’s

Major Development over here - after a couple of delays over the summer, Max has a brand new lift to ride up and down the stairs! He’s now over 40 lbs (and squirmy), so carrying him up and down the stairs of our house is becoming more of a task. And the best part is he really likes the ride!!
This won’t be the last piece of making our house just a little more accessible, but I wanted to share with the group because all of you crazy sickos helped make it possible.
I haven’t said it enough, so on behalf of Max and our whole family - THANK YOU!! Hoping to see each and every one of you again soon.
