This is more than fair. It’s WAY too easy to get a GHIN handicap number for that to be an excuse - and it levels the playing field and makes everything more enjoyable.

It’s a crime that Detroit-style doesn’t have a bigger rep. Hadn’t heard of it until one opened at a kitchen incubator near me before I moved. Now it’s all I want. And I live outside Chicago, Lou Malnati’s and Giordano’s don’t hold a candle.
It’s genuinely absurd to think about. A group of 100+ golfers whose response to “I just bought new persimmons” is not “why on earth would you do that” but “what brand/what loft/what’s your ferrule situation? Did you buy any classic balls to go with them?”
Also 100+ people who will see a joke about arguing about nachos and start actually arguing about nachos lol.

Didn’t realize I was actually on the list (thought I was an alternate), but I’m going to have to miss this one. I’ve got an inter club match that Friday and have to host a wedding shower Saturday. Appreciate all the work everyone’s put into this…will make one of them happen eventually!

I’m showing up @ Rackham the day of and expecting to play some golf somewhere local and hang out. i know there are a handful of Columbus guys planning on doing the same.
