#9 - This hole is fucking sick. Absolute cocaine train cracked out short Par 5 with water affecting layups and approaches alike, OB lurking, pot bunkers, and tons of visibililty from the clubhouse to make a meltdown more public. My only qualm is that it should be #18, not #9. Matches and quotas are made or shattered by mere inches.

#7 - What a good par 3. Absolutely elegant in it’s simplicity. After six holes winding through the trees, you’re suddenly in the middle of an open field, staring the green dead in the face, just a mid-iron away. Ball strikers only, folks. An exceptionally-fitting closest-to-the-pin hole, because whoever wins this one likely hit the single best iron shot of the entire day.

7 is the closest to the pin hole if you dare to sign up for the 50/50. $20 buy in when you check in

Anywhere right on 6 is so fucked too. A really cool downhill drive then a benign second shot that leaves with an approach shot into what I call the Cliffs of Moher green. Whatever additional yardage you got from the downhill tee shot is taken away on the approach

For those that make the sweet 16 this year we will be doing a modified horse race.

Everyone who made it (16 and ties) will play hole 1 and to advance to hole 2 you have to make net par or better. Same goes for hole 2, net par or better advances. We will then head to hole 7 then 8 then 9. We will go in that direction until we have 4 players (final 4, who will get a special gift for making it). The final 4 will play a match play with the nearest handicap player in the 4. The winners face off for the March Mudness crown and a spot in the NIT.

The rest of you who either fail to make it can play as many golf holes as they want. We have the course for the whole day and weather is suggesting the warmest weather will be around 3pm

#1 - Rarely does a hole so perfectly encapsulate what you’re going to get the rest of the round.
