Fully plan on playing again next year. @JBors I hope you had as much fun as us yesterday it was great to meet you and even though the golf wasn’t our best I had a ton of fun we definitely need to tee it up again sometime. Cant wait for next year already!

Shout out and thank you to @djheadley for working the ones and twos on the spreadsheet with scoring and @RLSIII for bringing the concept to life with the logos.
It’s pretty cool to see 60+ golfers gathered for what could be pretty brutal weather to get some swings in and raise some money. Hopefully you met some people and can continue to #getinvolved.

I thought the elite 8 worked well. if we started at 10:30 we could probably do a full sweet 16 though as originally planned. late start (compared to the originally planned 9) was really nice.

I have quite possibly erred in the worst way possible and calling a penalty/ejection on myself.
During my main round, I barely exhibited any form of athleticism to be considered a golfer, and was confused how I was able to qualify for the 8 and NIT (and let’s be honest, win raffle items as well).
@Setwilli was in fine form and provided a 6&5 smashing to close me out in the first round match play. Again…How did I play so poorly and still qualify. After further discussion this morning since something didn’t seem right, @EConroy419 reminded me that quota scores are gross.
I submitted net scores, forgetting that we already subtract caps from course cap.
There is no way in hell that I should be invited to the NIT or have been in the final 8. I am open and ready to receive all criticism and jokes for my embarrassing blunder, as this was incredibly idiotic on my behalf. I sincerely apologize to anyone that person who’s place I took and everyone else who I accidentally duped.
I do ask for your forgiveness in this time, and as further retribution, will be happy to sport a custom jersey on my dime at the next mudness that says “QUOTA SCORES ARE GROSS IDIOT”.
Well the good news is that 10 people were let into the elite 8, so dropping you it still would have been top 9 regardless.
Looks like @wronghander is the winner for the high handicap quota spot for NIT.
I think you should still go to the NIT and play @djpie.
Appreciate the support, but I would not be able to accept my idiocy be boosted into the NIT. Fraudulent entry, I will not be the Omar Uresti of the Refuge.
