Great show at Radio City on Saturday. Took a little bit for his voice to warm up. Regarding the article and that show there were a few things that stood out.

  • Aimee Mann taking a moment to say he is an exceptional person. I kind of needed to hear that.
  • The solo acoustic Cover Me Up feels like the right way to honor the original meaning (my girlfriend pointed it out)

Was great to meet @clarkie after the show, it felt good to be able to help out @mshriver3 who couldn’t go.

Having seen a few shows over the last few months (Asheville, Raleigh, Nashville, and NYC), my biggest nit to pick is how similar the set lists are from night to night. I get that it’s going to be Weathervanes heavy to promote the new album, but the others could be mixed up a bit more.

It’s a new chapter and I’m looking forward to seeing where he goes from here.

Yeah I didn’t get in on the presale, but we were third row on an isle in the balcony for like 160 out the door, so I was really happy with that.

Just bought a ticket to his show at Red Rocks in two weeks. Also seeing him 5 days after that at a 1000 seat venue in Lawrence, KS. Red Rocks show also has Amanda there which seems notable.

A friend went to both Denver shows and said the Red Rocks one was a bit less weird. Still was weird though.
