It’s pissing with rain over here, cheer me up please.

Post me a scene from a movie you love that we just have to see.

Let me start us off with the time Carlito met Mr Benny Blanco from the Bronx.

“My place now. New rules. Everybody pays.”

Did they ever come out with the second UNCLE movie that they were supposed to?
That first one was so good

It appears to be a BBC Sherlock situation. Everyone involved is excited to get back and make it, and the studios have said they’ll fund it once they see a script, but all of their careers are much busier than when they shot the first one so it’s going to take a while to find a gap in their schedules.

I need to sit with it for more than a year, but this might be my actual favorite movie

My favorite war movie — A Bridge Too Far.
Best war movie and best opening theme music ever, IMO.

Oh man, so many I’d share (street shootout from Heat, club scene from Collateral, border scene from Sicario) but the whole Red Circle sequence from John Wick is some of the best cinematography/soundtrack/effects out there

Could do a whole thread on classic war movies. I watched all these on repeat as a kid instead of cartoons

Longest Day, Dirty Dozen, Tora Tora Tora, Midway, Bridge on River Kwai, Sands of Iwo Jima, Patton, Battle of the Bulge, Great Escape, Kelly’s Heroes, Guns of Navarone, Battle of Britain

All great movies I’ve watched many times. I only wish they had been accurate, at least the ones that made the attempt to be based on real events.

Nevertheless, the classic war movies had great musical themes.

I think I watched this move 200 times as a kid. Still know every line

According to History Buffs on YouTube, Tora Tora Tora was pretty accurate.
