Film Room - Spieth & Neil vs Soly & JT at Kapalua

Huge own goal from from Neil and Jordan having Neil go up against JT. Anyone would be a mental wreck having to hit approach shots after JT all day and Neil’s brain full on melted in front of us.

Randy and Zalatoris would be on my shortlist as a Pro-Am pairing.

I (thankfully) did not watch the match. The alt shot format naturally creates a lot of interaction (the match was better ball?). Great choice to go alt shot. Was a fun watch.

Maybe it would help with the eye test to be playing in his group

Also this was better than any of The Match’s, bring on the rematch at sea level

Spieth just missed a 2 foot putt. Should have gotten those out of the way the other day.

Great PIP stuff for Thomas and Spieth
co-marketing so to speak!

And we need the Alpha Greller out there for the rematch

The highest point on the course can’t be more than 200-300 feet above sea level, no?

Greller catching strays from JT for missing a put the day before…

Also huge by Greller to abstain with @Tron not attending. All alphas or no alphas.

That shot from Spieth was disturbingly filthy.

I felt for @MerchCzar

One of those situations where you want to have fun bc it’s such an awesome day, but have to do the big fake bc you just want to scream “WTF!?!”.

Seriously, I don’t normally play like this!

I doubt we can get guys to get “credit” for their Titleist hours by spending time with us. But it just makes the ask that much easier.

I truly hope this keeps going and look forward to the eventual Homa/Tron pairing.

I’m glad that NLU will be making this an annual gig, maybe not with JS and JT
a “no brainer”
the ultimate boondoggle for the whole NLU family
Aloha :palm_tree: :palm_tree: :palm_tree:

Bones must have been so bored. Was he obligated to be there? I’m sure he would have preferred to either be playing his own round or doing anything other than watching other people play and occasionally using his caddie skillset. I know Soly said they “needed” caddie, but I thought that was just part of the intro bit.
