Seems like a recipe for 5 hour round requiring everyone to putt out. Could change to stableford or something so people can pick up at net double.

I guess I’m not understanding your terms. How does a fourball (2 vs 2 best ball) translate to 12 person teams?

I’m not entirely sure if I have them right, so let’s air it out.

Stroke-play 4-ball. We’re taking the low score of the 2-man team. If it’s going south for someone, they can pick up. If their partner is in at par and I’m putting bogey, I’m picking up.

Throwing the team aspect in, we will add all the the team low nets together for a low team score.

If this doesn’t make sense, telling me I’m an idiot will not hurt my feelings one bit.

Fourball the game is match play, but otherwise get your example.

So for this game it’s the low 1 net per 12 man team or low 1 net per 4-some? Is the team score the 1 or sum of three scores?

Could do it Ryder cup style and have actual fourball matches.

We do it Ryder Cup style where each match is worth a point? Makes the end a bit easier.
