Thanks! It was pretty wild. I was at near 100% collapse Tues night and had a chest tube for a couple days.
The doctors almost seemed excited to show me the x-rays once I came around.

Who!!! I was at 20% capacity when they finally figured out what was wrong. I thought it was heartburn for 2 days and was just popping tums. Then I was coughing a bunch and went to my primary care dr, they thought it was walking pneumonia. Went for x rays on the way to work and didn’t stick around for results. They called a few hours later and was like you have to go to the ER NOW.
That tube is crazy. And I was amazed that the holes then just “fix themselves” after the lung has that room to inflate again.

I had a blast Saturday despite being in the absolute wilderness. @BigBird carried my ass up and down the entirety of Shepherd’s crook. 1/14 fairways. 3/18 greens. Multiple three-putts, including one from 8 feet. Routinely block-slicing the ball into various landfills, hazards, heather, you name it - and I usually play a draw. All that being said, I still enjoyed making elaborate up and downs for bogey, the guinnesses (guinni?) were still cold, and the company was top notch. Sign me up for next year - I may be a 25 handicap by then and have a real shot at winning.

I like the team aspect of this event in the past. 4-Somes scoring Team Best Ball (Not Scramble) with HDCP. Dont know if we have any people that “Need to play with someone” but a random draw for tee times or a draft would be fun
EDIT: I just want the excuse to root for my card mates and take overly egressive lines off the tee once someone is in play

Problem with 4somes is getting an equal number of people. The amount of last minute drops is always an issue…but we can work around that.
