Ladies and Gentlemen of the Refuge. I am finally happy to announce that the Aloha Crew has now been given Official Roost Status. Albeit on a 1 Year Trial Basis.
The concept of the roost is simple. This is a roost for the roostless. The folks who want to get involved and compete but are challenged geographically to the currently established roosts.
From Hawaii to Maine. Idaho to Louisiana. And every small village in between. This is a roost for everyone who wants to get involved but doesn’t have the capacity to drive hours every month to do it.
Some Questions:
Will there be a major?
Yes. More details to be announced after the holidays but think 9th Island.
Will we be able to qualify for the RCC?
Also yes. We have a qualifying system that recognizes geographic limitations as we are spread across the US.
“Can I be a member of “X” Roost and Aloha?”
No you cannot. You have to declare intentionally for a roost. You can’t fail to qualify in a roost and then jump ship over to Aloha for qualification purposes.
I would strongly encourage everyone to participate in any roost event they can. Just know for RCC qualification purposes you would be qualifying as Aloha.
What Region will Aloha be in
Heartland. Somebody needs to stop RMR.
Is this just RyMo and 19 burners?
