If that’s the case, then I think we can all agree it was justified and actually would encourage more profanity next time.

I can’t imagine caring enough about the opportunity to take out a personal loan to play a golf course in Frisco to boo people, but we all have different priorities, I suppose.

Well my apologies about not getting the best intel on the cart situaiton. Can certainly understand why the tough guy who felt it was ok to boo other competitors would also get blamed for something as pathetic as berating the staff, but glad to hear that wasnt actually the case.
Condolances on the loss of your friend Anthony and hope this years event is just the first of many you will hold in his honor.

1000% agree. This shouldn’t get lost at all. But if the booing of a female participant in fact happened, that shit needs to stop and be called out. I didn’t hear it so I can’t say it happened but it seems like enough people did.
And I say this as someone who has brought my wife to a refuge event and had her play in it. And seen the nerves she had the days leading up to it and if she would be accepted and can gladly say she was accepted with open arms (and a loud fart). This community needs more women playing in events and having them get booed because they don’t have a 6 handicap isn’t going to accomplish that.

Yelling at staff is pathetic, regardless of the reasoning and edpecially more pathetic when youre supposed to be representing a larger group.
You act like youve never played golf before or been to a resort where these cart guys, starters, etc take their jobs entirely too seriously and get bent out of shape real easilybiver nothing.
Did you apologize to him after the fact or just tip him?

Listen I understand, but I don’t want to be besmirched on here though - I have had many great interactions with people from across the country at these events, have organized some of my own, and helped raise a lot of money for charity. I’m generally a teddy bear but I couldn’t have that.
