I’ve yet to play in Seminole, but I’ve heard nothing but good things!
I really liked this course the one time I played it. Pretty easy off the tee and really challenging (at least for me) on the greens.

I live in Durango CO now but Seminole is the only place my dad and brother play. The people are good there and the course is fun enough. The options are just so limited in that part of the world 
Yeah I agree the options are limited. I drive out near Seminole every once in a while so I’ll have to check it out. Andrews has always had a fun track although I haven’t played in a while. With how good the High School teams are there, I’d imagine it hasn’t changed much.

Do you just drive to Lajitas? I’ve been dying to play out there but it’s a long drive. I feel like I’ve heard you can fly from Dallas in the past.
It looks like it’s charter only, but they’ve got a link on their website so I would guess it’s a little more regular and affordable than a normal private trip.

I’ve been really wanting to play out there too, trying to pitch family camping trip to Big Bend so I can play there tail end
I just drive from Midland and it’s about 4 hours. You can fly but I’ve always assumed it was a private airport. I really enjoy the resort there too. Everything you need is right there, and it’s a short drive to Terlingua.

Ridgview ranch is a nice course to play. I haven’t played it in a few years, so I cannot speak on current condition. Check tee times before you come up this way. Courses have had the greens covered since Monday morning due to the cold front. Most will be opening back up at some point today.

Watters Creek is an option if you head towards Allen, I’ve been there a few times and have enjoyed it. A few options for courses depending on how much time you have.
