Just surprising to see something like that. Cops being untrustworthy in the US, as an outsider, seems like something that’s generally understood on a widespread scale. Hardly a group that needs defending like that from Cody.

It was unnecessary to me, but I get why he’s defensive and where he comes from. If I said retailers should lock up high value items because people will steal I don’t think saying “not all people!” is value added. You should police traffic violations because people will break the law - “not all people!”

Very much so. As a white kid from the CT suburbs my experiences with cops are likely very different than a person of color from a major city. I’d like to think I’m self-aware enough to recognize that, but different life experiences shape your views on things

I hate to burst anyone’s conspiracy bubble but this was not nearly as contentious as y’all are making it out to be. This is @Cody’s and my friendship, two Montana boys giving each other good ribbing and love. Cody is right, not all cops lie. It’s good to point that out. My father was a prosecutor for Pete’s sake. But the Louisville Metro PD doesn’t deserve the benefit of doubt in this situation with their history. It is a fact to say they were scolded by the justice department just last year for a pattern of terrible policing after a lengthy investigation.
No one is editing any constructive exchange of ideas between friends out of the pod or YT show.

Also from the Liveshow, honestly flabbergasted about TC saying he had multiple reports of logistics issues at Valhalla this week.
I was there today and Tuesday. It took 35 minutes from parking our car at the bussing site to when we were on the grounds during heavy rain. 25 mins on the way back. There was PLENTY of water throughout the course at the free water stations. Never waited more than 5 minutes for food or beverages. No wait for checkout at the Merch tent. Despite the fact that each 9 is on different parts of the property, we were able to easily pop back and forth with little effort. Sure, early this morning traffic was inevitably a mess, but someone was literally killed!!!
Willy Z and Cam complaining about getting on site this morning needs to be prefaced with that fact.
