Throwback to the ShopRite Classic just over two years ago, think that was her first final group Sunday!

Amazing to think about all that’s happened since then!

Just wrapped up watching on DVR. @LPondgolf that shot on 17 was some baller shit! Congrats to you and @JohnP. Off to look for Solheim tickets!!

So incredibly happy for Lauren and John. Briefly met them in the parking lot at Jax Beach at the inaugural NIT, and followed Soly at the Gasparilla with Lauren a couple of years back. Hung on every shot of the Evian back nine. Sweet, sweet redemption today.

So proud of a person I’ve never met. The shot on 17 is how you close a tournament.

Hats off to the restraint, @Soly

Very cool ESPN alert to get.

Hot damn that was a fun and stressful back 9. Really really tough trying to explain this to my wife who doesn’t really understand the Refuge in the first place.

Tournament attendance record. Nice.

Good to see it didn’t require Brooke to be in contention for it to happen.

Men’s tournament (AKA the Ontario Open h/t @Tron) could learn from the women’s side and actually move around the damn country.

Let’s. Fucking. Go.

Watched the final three holes in the bar after playing 18 with my brother and some friends who don’t watch the LPGA. I explained the nest/refuge and why we all root for LC, this would be her first LPGA win, It would essentially secure a spot on the solheim team, etc.

All four of us absolutely locked in. Got some weird looks when we shouted after the putt dropped on 17.

Total chaos around her those final holes and slams the door shut convincingly. What a tournament. What a player! Well deserved.

Congratulations @LPondgolf. Missed out all the fun sweat after I left Whistler while LC was on 15.

Hope this is enough to convince @JohnP to forgo Malaysia and go to NIT instead.

I would like to ask how many years of NIT exemptions does this get her?

Pretty cool to have lost money playing dice to an actual LPGA tour winner.

As a past champ, she has a lifetime exemption

TC posted this on twitter a little bit ago. I somehow didn’t know how it all started. Slide into those DMs, folks! Bet on yourself and shoot your shot.

That was really really really special. Probably the happiest non-family/life event moment I’ve had since we started NLU. Just over the moon for Lauren, for John, for everyone on here who has supported them. Sometimes the best ones finish first. And hopefully it’s the first of many. Truly life-changing stuff that should result in a lot more success - the game is as good as any out there.

Also, caddie Terry’s 84th pro win. He’s got 8 majors, let’s see him get to double digits!

Selfishly, I’m excited to cheer on Lauren at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions next year.
