Haven’t been to either of those but have been to a couple Husky football games and one Thunderbirds (WHL) game. Both fantastic environments. Seattle folks seem to have tremendous pride in their city and sports teams.

I didn’t know anything about Sahalee before this week, but I think it already is number 1 on my list of “holy shit this is an incredible course and I’d watch pros play it every week, but I’d never ever want to play it” ranking.

I would love to watch Bubba try and play sahalee. Seeing him try and hit slinging hooks and giant cuts in such tight corridors would be sick

I would love to watch a KFT event here. Or a PGA classic club event. This is generally my least favorite kind of course, but sahalee is a perfect example of how you can make heavy tree coverage and tight corridors work in a way that is challenging, smart, and looks natural without also looking like the course just hasn’t been maintained well

The champions tour isn’t great and I rarely watch it outside of this week but they have like 0 commercials in their broadcast. Flipping back and forth has been jarring

Several hours late on this, but the PGA of America should make the broadcast rights to the men’s and women’s events a package deal. Also, we 100% need ESPN/ABC to get a major back, preferably the USGA events. They did a really good job with the ULBOPBHMKC back in the day.
