I hit @RyMo chippo one time 200y right down the corridor lol.
I absolutely refuse to be strong-armed into another streaming service. Weâve cut everything but Netflix and Hulu. We kept those only because our daughters are paying for it themselves. Such a fucking gross money-grab. I hate missing so much of the coverage last week and this week but it is what it is.
Any word on logistics getting to and from the tournament so far on the shuttles from Marymoor Park? Iâm assuming Saturday will be far busier than today but curious how itâs going so far if theyâve got their shit together.
PSA for anyone coming from the west side like us, 520 bridge is closed all weekend (SICK!) so weâll probably be taking 405 around.
Im so annoyed I canât watch Nelly
Sooooo early but give me Nelly v. Charley this weekend.
Thank you (also still annoyed)
I donât mind a tight, treelined golf course when the trees were there first. Sahalee was actually cut out of an existing forest, rather than so many parkland courses where the course was built on open land and people came in over the years and planted trees. Sahalee is awesome.
Yeah I donât mind trees either - thereâs a few mountain courses out in Denver just like Sahalee (where they were built through the forest). Keeping Nature, natural is awesome.
Also so different than anything else. Andy Johnson spoke about it the other day, the best thing about the US is we have massive variations of courses, just the tours (womenâs is getting better venues/places) donât display them all
Yeah, theyâre like it in the sense they were built through existing forest. Canât think of any in Colorado like Sahalee where they kept such tight corridors.
oh yeah the closest is probably bear dance, I just meant where the mountain courses are tree lined where the trees werenât planted
Early still obviously but so far a hitters only leaderboard
A little north of Telluride thereâs a course called Divide Ranch that has a some holes that get kind of narrow and turn, but itâs not as narrow and the trees arenât as big and as thick.
Grand Lake had a few narrow holes but they lost all the trees and itâs now pretty much totally open. Pour one out for that place. A shame about the blight that went through there.
Obviously mountain golf just isnât going to be able to emulate a place like Sahalee.
Nelly just missed a Rory-length putt for bogey on her 13th hole of the day, made double and is back in a tie for the lead at -2.
Was it 5â7", 2â11", or 3â9"?

I hit a tree 15 yards up.
