I think they should change their structure because while their members seem very happy, a guy from another part of the country complains about it.

I mean, for sure. But I did also play 101 holes yesterday to raise nearly $1700 for Youth On Course, so I have that going for me.

Is this true? That’s sad. I don’t mind paying an entry fee for some of the larger majors that covers trophy, tee gift, charity donation…but a membership fee just seems to go against the entire original idea.
Roosts are just about finding other sickos to play some golf with. Anything else is to much.

Yeah it’s been covered at length, but several roosts have dues to cover expenses for websites, their usga handicaps through their roosts, some merch or whatever, and a barrier to non paying members being able to qualify for the RCC team

I don’t read as much as I used to. I’m still on the fence about paying my nest membership this year. If there was a roost fee attached I would done quickly.

Don’t need to be a nest member to participate in roost events, only if you want to go to the NIT or RCC!

He seemed a bit shook over the irons in last year’s NIT final. There was a picture perfect shank on the 4th that we didn’t talk about. Glad to see him bounce back.
