I thought Jeff handled everything great. Calm, professional, factual.
It really isn’t his job to intervene in any scenario with the police. That would be wildly unprofessional. I’m sure it was very surreal as it was unfolding and Jeff wasn’t even really paying too much attention until they saw the officer throw Scottie against the car and cuff him. At that point, his job is just to observe and ask questions. He wouldn’t have even known what Scottie was arrested for at that point. I’m sure his head was spinning. I also suspect that went the officer did finally say “Who is that we just arrested?” that Jeff told them who it was, but that part wasn’t on camera.
