First time at the NIT and even with multiple years of FOMO and the resulting high expectations… it blew me away. Shouts to @Privatecollection - truly amazed at how she has so much going on and makes it feel like it’s a walk in the park keeping everything organized.
There are hundreds of things I could say and I’d leave someone out if I started to mention the fantastic people I came into contact with while playing thoroughly average golf. So, I’ll keep it at this: Riding around in a cart with @connor during the championship round I couldn’t help notice the fact that several members of Team-NLU were willingly caddying and making a fourth loop of the course in 48 hours with temps in the upper 90s / low 100s (don’t give me any of that “dry heat” bullshit… heat is heat).
In the grand scheme of things, it might be a small gesture… but if you think the majority of those in the golf media space (EAL, Riggs, whoever’s still a member of Good Good, et. al) would grab a bag and caddie when they didn’t have to… then, to fittingly borrow from George Strait, I’ve got some oceanfront property in Mesa and I’d love to send you some literature.

We don’t overseed and the weather is fantastic in October. Unfortunately we may not have a suitable venue.
The NIT should go to another Southwest muni in a major metro with plenty of room to host a big event.
