I wish I could say there was better agreement on what would happen Thursday, but I cannot.
Significant rainfall tomorrow night thru Thursday morning is almost certain, flash flood watches, etc.
The expectation that things should clear in the afternoon is reflective of what the pros are seeing, at least in 2 major models (NAM/GFS). However, there is the ECMWF(the Euro), which has low pressure getting cut-off, allowing for some lighter rain to last thru the evening.
Luckily you guys are playing hickories so less danger of electrocution.
Never trust the Euro model…and right now I don’t care that it’s typically more accurate than NOAA with 1-2 day forecasts.
Fingers crossed that the forecast holds up. We might get a window where the rain holds off between noon and 7pm. Small caveat being N’ly winds might be 15 gusting 25.
SICK!!!
Tomorrow is going to be fun, whichever way it goes. Walking, playing with wooden clubs, eating barbecue, talking about Fast & Furious. Gonna be a good day.
Gonna be soupy as fuck, truly going to separate the wheat from the chaff.
After playing Priairie Dunes in a steady rain with gusts over 50mph a few weeks ago, I believe I’m as prepared as I can be for tomorrow.
I am probably top 5 least inactive members, so if this is redundant my b.
If anyone is staying in town over the weekend, can not emphasize enough to go check out rockwood and or Hawks Creek. Also DM your boy if you do, I live 5 or so minutes from both courses.
Storms and 2” hail is staying about 5-10 miles north of Colonial. Woohoo!!!
I just got nailed in Flower Mound. Roofer SZN is upon us.
Throwing up the bat signal for the DFW folks - we have one spot available last minute due to a late WD (family emergency). Who wants it would need to be to Colonial by about 1:30pm today, Woodshed after!
Have you efforted Tony Romo?
Colonial requires a collared shirt
@therealmarkymark but I can’t remember if he was on the list or not already
He is, and he’s apparently wearing white pants.
god bless
