75.9 from the tips, sheeeesh. All that and flat as hell, interesting.
Surprised it’s not a no fly zone
PDGC has a mailbox in the middle of the par 3 pond too. its the “suggestion box”
Wouldn’t be surprised to see Pete Dye Golf Club, PGA West, Honors Course, Oak Tree National, Old Marsh, or sleeper pick Brickyard Crossings get talked about.
I believe I’ve mentioned it on here before, but there’s a Dye course near Culver, IN that was public and called Mystic Hills before it was bought by Jim Irsay and renamed to Horseshoe Farms. No idea what’s going on there now since he died, but it had no membership and was basically a personal course for him and his guests. Might top the exclusivity list.
Edit: It’s for sale Jim Irsay's family selling Culver golf course, longest par 71 in world
Man it’d be nice to have the money to buy a Pete dye course and keep it operating just for my personal use.
Also kind of sick that a town of 1200 people has a Langford and Moreau 9 holer and a Pete Dye
If I won the lottery I would buy fowlers mill in NEO and turn it in to what it should be. the management company that bought it 7-8 years ago now is trying to run it into the ground
Gasparilla
Maybe landfall?
Should be VA Tech or Kingsmill both called “the river course”
Huge missed opportunity to call this a Pete Dye Deep Dyve
on the right path but think its gotta be simpler - The Pete Dyve.
P.D.D.D.
They might talk about Kohler as 1 project as a cheaters way to get more courses in.
Think of it as a tip of the fedora to TC
Fun fact: there was usually a “fake.” empty cop car sitting outside of the entrance
